ATHLETESStep 1 — Find Your Classes

I ALREADY TRAIN. WHAT WILL CHALLENGE ME?

Share

If you already lift, run, play a sport, or train regularly — you're going to find things at Yoga House that surprise you. Not because the classes are harder than what you're used to, but because they'll expose the gaps. The mobility you've been skipping. The stability work you've been avoiding. The breath control you didn't know you needed.

These are the classes built for people who already know how to work hard.

THE CLASSES THAT WILL PUSH YOU

HOT FIT FLOW

This is the class most athletes underestimate. Heated to 85–90°, Hot Fit Flow combines strength patterns, cardio intervals, and yoga flow into a single 60-minute session. You'll move fast, you'll sweat hard, and you'll feel muscles you forgot you had. The heat adds a cardiovascular demand that makes every movement more expensive.

FIT SCULPT

Most sculpt classes use light weights and high reps. We don't. In Fit Sculpt, you lift real weight in real movement patterns — squat, hinge, lunge, push, pull, carry. Then, without rest, you finish each muscle group with Pilates: small range, slow tempo, pulses and holds. The combination is brutal in the best way. If you've been lifting for years and think a mat class can't challenge you, take Fit Sculpt once and reconsider.

  • — Non-heated (so you can lift heavier with better form)
  • — Real weights, real movement patterns
  • — Pilates burnout on every muscle you lift
  • — 45–50 minutes
  • — Taught by: Olivia Guzzo

HOT POWER YOGA

High-intensity power flow, heated to 85–90°. This class moves fast, holds long, and demands full-body control. For athletes who've never done yoga, it's a humbling experience — and one of the most effective things you can add to a training program. Improved hip mobility, shoulder stability, and single-leg balance translate directly to performance in almost every sport.

FIT STRENGTH TRAINING (FIT HOUSE GYM)

If you want to add structured strength work to your week, the Fit House Gym is two doors down at 6210 Trail Blvd. Small group training — 8 people max — coached by Laurie Orlando. Smith rack, cable pulley system, sled, landmine station, and TRX. This isn't a globo gym. It's coached, intentional, and built around progressive overload.

The athletes who get the most out of Yoga House are the ones who come in willing to be a beginner at something new.

THE CLASS THAT FILLS THE GAPS

Even if you're already strong and fit, FUNDAMENTAL MVMT is worth your time. Taught by Laurie Orlando, it addresses the mobility restrictions and postural patterns that accumulate from years of training. Think of it as maintenance for the machine.
